Message from the Lord-Lieutenant

It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.

Her Grace was deeply admired for her lifelong service to the nation and her tireless dedication to education, music, and charitable causes. She will be remembered with affection and gratitude for her kindness, her humility, and the inspiration she gave to so many.

On behalf of the people of Nottinghamshire I extend our heartfelt condolences at this time.

We join with the nation in giving thanks for her remarkable life of duty.
