Alex Peace-Gadsby OBE DL
Alex is a Nottinghamshire based entrepreneur and prolific volunteer with extensive experience driving forward UK and International business strategies across a range of corporate and charitable sectors within challenging environments.
She is passionate about making a difference to the opportunities available for young people and is former Chief Commissioner of England for the Scouts; a Trustee of Youth United Foundation, supporting 1.5 million people to be involved in uniformed youth organisations across the UK; and is Chair of the charity Parentkind, supporting parental engagement in education including through the UK’s PTA network which fundraises in excess of £122m for schools annually.
Locally, Alex is Chair of The Inspire and Achieve Foundation, supporting young people who are NEET across the County into employment, education or training and is a Governor at St Giles School in Retford, an aspirational and inspirational school for pupils between the ages of 3 and 18 with an Education Health and Care Plan.
